Season of Giving 2018

Our Season of Giving food distribution brought us to the Athens United Methodist Church for their Feed My Sheep Food Pantry.

The Season of Giving food delivery continued into Sullivan county where we visited the New Albany Church and Sullivan County Food Pantry in Dushore. Non-perishable food items were donated to both locations.

Our Season of Giving continues with a stop at T.A.C.O. (Towanda Area Christian Outreach). TACO has already served 2,478 local families this year, 1,341 families through their Elder Share Program and 1101 households for their Fresh Express Program.

Our Season of Giving arrived in Wyoming county, where we dropped off non-perishable food items to the Commission on Economic Opportunity/Wyoming County Food Pantry in Tunkhannock. CEO's Weinberg Regional Food Bank is a member of Feeding America and serves four counties in NEPA - Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wyoming & Susquehanna.

Our Season of Giving food delivery took us to Wyalusing at the Helping Hands Food Pantry. They provide nourishment to 75-90 families a week. Helping Hands provides 230 local school students with backpacks of non-perishable food items for weekends.

The Season of Giving food delivery stopped at the Dalton Food Pantry in Lackawanna County. Nancy Thompson accepted non-perishable food items from Janice Bevacqua, Branch Manager of our Clarks Summit office.

Danielle Ruhf accepts a check from Charlene Markish to help fund the “Ram Room” at Wyalusing Valley High School.  This room welcomes students to pick-up non-perishable food items.  PS Bank employees donated to the cause for the privilege of wearing denim.
