Souto Elected President of NARO Board of Directors
Jim Souto, Senior Vice-President and Chief Administrative Officer of PS Bank, has been elected President of the National Board of Directors for NARO (National Association of Royalty Owners). Jim, a resident of Wyalusing, PA, has been employed by PS Bank for more than 20 years.
Jim is a graduate of Penn State University with a B.S in Business Logistics and has an MBA from Drexel University. He is a charter member of the NARO Pennsylvania Chapter and has earned the Certified Mineral Manager (CMM) designation.
NARO was founded in 1980 and is based in Tulsa, OK. It is the only national organization advocating for the interests and rights of the approximately 12 million oil and gas royalty owners located in all 50 states. There are presently 11 state chapters including Arkansas, Appalachia (Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, West Virginia), California, Colorado,, Louisiana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rockies (Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming) New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.
