Through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, PS Bank has recently donated $40,000 to St. Agnes Elementary School in Towanda, PA, part of the Diocese of Scranton, to assist families with tuition costs.
This contribution will directly support scholarships for students attending St. Agnes, helping to make a quality Catholic education more accessible to families in the region. The EITC program allows businesses to invest in education by providing tuition assistance to qualifying students through scholarship organizations.
St. Agnes School, serving students in grades PreK through 6, is dedicated to academic excellence, faith formation, and character development in a nurturing environment. With the support of partners like PS Bank, the school continues its mission to provide an affordable, values-based education to families in Bradford County.
Kelly Wilhelm, Principal of St. Agnes recently thanked PS Bank for the charitable contribution. “Our school community extends our sincerest gratitude for your contribution to Saint Agnes School through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program. Your contribution makes a profound impact in the lives of our local students and provides valuable opportunities to children that otherwise may not have them. Thank you for helping us shape the lives of the next generation.”
